If you’re anything like me—someone who would never skip dessert, has a serious sweet tooth, but also loves to stay mindful about what goes into their body—then you’re going to love this rich, delicious, and nutrient-dense chocolate cake recipe!
Before I dive into this, I know being able to slow down and take moments for ourselves is a luxury for many, those really busy stay at home mommas, the working moms, the childfree but working girlies that have long to-do list. But I believe everyone deserves to take care of themselves in order to be able to continue doing what they love, whatever that may be. What is cortisol?
Cortisol is your body’s main stress hormone. It helps regulate energy, blood pressure, and your response to stress. While it’s essential for survival, too much cortisol over time can lead to fatigue, anxiety, and other health issues. Some people may wonder why they are having trouble sleeping or why are all these new aches and pains showing up, some woman may be struggling with hormone imbalances and irregular periods and without you even knowing it, high cortisol levels may be playing a big role here.

The breeze, the fall colors, the lattes and energy all around was just perfection. I'd like to share with you exactly what we did just in case you are planning your next fall trip to be in Paris!
